Osgood Lake connects to other lakes, ponds and extensive canoe and guide boat routes by the way of three waterways. Two privately maintained hiking trails and four Adirondack leantos are also directly accessible from Osgood Lake. President Calvin Coolidges Summer White House is also on the lake. By car, the Adirondack Visitors Center is only five miles away, the local Post Office is approximately one and a half miles. It take twenty-five minutes to reach Lake Placid, and only fifteen minutes for Saranac Lake. It's one and half hours easy drive to downtown Montreal and horseback riding is four miles away.
